Three Rivers Planning and Development District, Inc. operates a department that offers the services of solid waste fee billing. This service began in October 1993 with software written by a Three Rivers’ employee.

The primary responsibilities for this department include:

·         maintaining and updating each county’s customer database;

·         opening, balancing and posting collections;

·         printing and mailing monthly statements; and

·         providing each county reports reflecting the status of the county’s customers with regards to collections and delinquency.

The overall success of this department is directly related to the cooperation and working relationship that exists between each county and Three Rivers PDD.
